Re: Catalog Scanning Proposal

Michelle had trouble replying to Gary White's email, so I am sending 
this for both of us.

Does this issue really require action by the AIS Board? It does not seem 
so to us. It is our understanding that the proposal has already been 
submitted to the Foundation, and, even if not, it can be submitted by 
John under the authority of his AIS offices.

We want to make it clear that we certainly do not disagree with anything 
that Gary wrote in his proposed motion, just the need for making it.
