Dennis,

I can only speak for the 2000 Dallas presentation and the 2012 Ontario
presentation. The Dallas presentation was seen by most of the local societies
in Texas and some in Oklahoma. The Ontario presentation...I gave to the
Tulsa Area Iris Society and it has been seen in California.

Who has seen these digital presentations?

Think about YouTube. More specifically:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfecRXhpYsw

Now, you may ask, "What does the symphony have to do with an AIS
Convention?"

Unfortunately, not very much, but that could change.

The Dallas 2000 Convention Committee did a digital presentation also and I
think the 2009 Kansas City Convention Committee and the 2010 Madison
Convention Committee may have done one also.

A thought! Region 15 for this year's convention put together a
lovely and informative powerpoint program from photos they took of
the various gardens when in bloom in 2011. I have seen it because I
had the time to make some minor adjustments and refinements to make
it even better AND compressed to be sent via e-mail to anyone
interested in viewing it.

It is the first time since I have been AIS Digital Programs-Slides
Chair that this type of information has been provided in enough time
to get the word out.

I think this is a great idea and a easy way to spread the word easily
and cost effectively.

My two cents,

Janet Smith
Digital Programs-Slides Chair
