AIS gave us registering all bulbous iris but not the responsibility for
bearded or beardless irises;  Bulbous irises may bear the name of irises
registered by AIS but non bulbus irises including a clone of I. pseudacorus

n the 1940's. Because they are no longer registered through AIS, and
apparently
here were no working agreements made between the two organizations, the KAVB
an use names we have used and vice-versa. Probably not a well thought out

Two Dutch Firms have used this name. They obviously do not care about accuracy
ince the image that one of them provides is of an Iris versicolor. I am not
ure how one counters this behavior. But I will send e-mails suggesting they
heck international registration information and question their suppliers

There is no I. pseudocorus registered with the name "Spartacus". In fact
PARTACUS is a TB registered in 1973 (previously listed in 1935 but released
