I also hate the fact that we have to be so vigilant with our kids these  
days, however, I see no problem with leaving the decision to the photographer  
(who owns the picture) vis-a-vis photo release.  The identity of the youth  is 
not made known although that is acceptable too in the AIS youth protection  
guidelines when used in AIS publications.  Release to others should not  provide 
identification of any type.
