Re: Motion for library exhibits

Bob and All,

I also support the idea of creating a traveling exhibit. I too know of
people, that have passed away, who were going to will their artifacts
and/or money to AIS but, changed their minds and left their artifacts to
their families to deal with and the money to other organizations. I
believe we, as a society, are a very creative group of people and can
come up with a plan as to the purpose of the exhibit, who will be the
administer of the project, what will be the guidelines for the project
and the exhibits and where will the exhibits be housed. I also think a
committee should be formed to work out more details for the traveling
exhibit, guidelines, ways to fund the project, and how to publicize the
exhibits to our membership and outside the AIS and then present these
ideas to the AIS Board of Directors. I know of many people in AIS that
do not even know we have a library.
