RE: Promotional video-Plea for videos

Bob,
If we need video clips, then this would be something the student/students
could work on, and we would not be paying them per se if they had a grant. If
we approach a college/university or tech school with the idea of a promotional
video proposal, the students would need to write up their ideas, create a
script, film the montage, etc. Also, having someone who is not an irisarian
could help our society to see things from a different perspective, which is
what we would need to encourage new people. Our society is so "gray" that we
really need an infusion of new blood/visions/ideas. Just some thoughts.

> Cheryl; I am glad someone is giving this some thought. You have a good idea
and I may check it out. But the organization and development of the video is
not really the hard part. Getting someone to take the desired footage is
really to problem, and this probably could be best accomplished by individuals
who are already irisarians and active in the Iris society. The small clips of
footage we need can only be taken at Iris events; conventions; shows; garden
tours. If we can find people who are already at these events it would be less
expensive than hiring someone from outside that would have to travel to them.
