Re: AIS Bulletins

Hi all: Apparently there has been some confusion; I have no idea where Ron got the name of "Send-It Direct".... I've never heard of it, and I don't see its name in the info that Ron got from the mailing service. Here's the info they sent:

I definitely NEVER directed anyone to Sendit Direct. We have been doing the Bulletin for as long as Ive been here. Here is the email I sent to Ron I thought I was pretty clear, but let me know if I need to clear anything up.

The Post Office that handles the acceptance of the mail is the Business Mail Entry Unit (BMEU) at Portland, OR 97208 (503.294.2427). The BMEU is only in charge of making sure that the mail meets their specifications and that were paying the correct amount of postage. >From there, it moves directly to the [post office] plant at Portland, OR 97208 which might as well be a completely separate entity. MOST of the American Iris Bulletins are then shipped up to BMC Seattle, WA 98000 there are about 25 BMCs throughout the country and from Seattle, the mail will be sent to the local BMC and then travel further down to the line until it finally reaches its destination.
I am attaching the list of domestic records that come to me so that you can see the breakout of zip codes. Please let me know if I can do anything else.
Thanks,
Dustin
