Sue and others; I believe the problem with the form on the AIS website is not a problem with the website but one that is a concern for all our computers. If you have been to a page on the AIS website before, your computer and mine caches the old page and to amke it come up quick our computers often present to us the old cache. The solution is to hit the refresh button on any page you think may be out of date. If it has been revised the new latest version will come up. Many of us have been complaining about the AIS website not being updated when it turns out that a big part of the problem is we have visited the page before and have not refreshed on that page.

Sue;
I am not exactly sure what "new membership flyers" you are referring to but just so you all know the AIS ITJ (Invitation to Join) form that is currently available on the AIS website was revised/updated by myself February 2012 to include information about the e-membership option; showing the option/ costs and specific benefits available to such a membership. I did this as the previous version did not cover this area. This newer version is available to download from the website and print in quantity as individuals and groups may require.
The information is presented on the ITJ very clearly and there should not really be any confusion as to what each type of AIS membership provides. Check the AIS ITJ form from the website and perhaps print one for your own reference to answer inquires within your region.

Hope this helps.

Good Day, I'm Sue Ann Barnes, RVP for Region 7.
I've been reading AIS discuss posts for over a year now, but have never posted. But by "listening" in I've learned a lot. And have become aware of an issue that may need some attention.
clip-clip-clip...
You may want to go to the Iris Lovers group and read some of the comments, questions and responses. It might also be useful to provide a guideline on membership to the RVPs so that we could be ready to answer questions and be a point of distribution of information. The new membership flyers have very little information about e-memberships on them, and people who have been members for years are not likely to pick one up and read it. Tom's information is printed on it, but I don't know if he has been contacted by those confused by the changes.
