I totally endorse the Madison convention. Indeed I
have not seen any objections. I hope that those who
are making this bid do not misunderstand the time
given to discussion. According to our rules, I suppose
we have to have the opportunity for any objections to
be made and discussed. But allowing that forum does
not indicate that there should be any objections. Once
the time for the vote occurs I suspect it will be
passed quickly. Unfortunately the attempt to allow for
openess can be mistaken for an attempt to delay.
Please, don't read into this timing any negative
connotations that are really not there.
