I agree John.  Container gardening can work for people in an apartment,
townhome, condo, etc.  We had one club member whose entire backyard was
taken up by a pool, but she managed to grow over 100 irises in various sized
pots and containers, including a mini "pond" in a barrel!  I also think we
should emphasize irises as 'drought tolerant' plants as part of the lure.
