If we have RVPs attending the meeting in Madison, why couldn't we give them a batch of tickets to take home? They could then disperse them to the affiliates, eliminating the violation of postal rules. And Fed-Ex has a Priority letter sleeve available to send the checks/stubs or whatever. Our main post office has a Fed-Ex box in the lobby for just such things! If a region does not have an RVP attending, then we could send them the tickets via a Fed-Ex letter. Don't give up on this terrific idea. I think we would make money on this because everyone loves the chance to win a fabulous prize like this. But first I think we should check with regions to see if they would want to do this and how many they think they could sell. In other words, I cannot send out ticket stubs and receive funds for the Fundraser thru the US. Postal Service. If 400 people come to the Madison Convention and assuming that most of those are couples that leaves approx 200 people available to buy tickets. And we would need 85 of those people to buy $20 worth of tickets for us to break even. Will we sell enough tickets to make this worth it? > > With this new info, please send me your comments on whether we should go forward with this plan.
