Re: [AISvote] M0tion to hold 2014 Convention in Dallas

Hi Andi,

Sometime ago the board had decided that 7 days was an appropriate length of time for discussing a motion and 7 days was also appropriate for voting. As such, the motion is no long eligible for discussion. I do want to add that there have been several motions that have gone out for discussion and little or no response was received during the discussion period because the people on the board felt there was really noting to discuss.

Michelle, not sure if this is allowed under the AIS rules but could we have
more time to discuss the Dallas 2014 Convention? It's only been 7 days
since it was presented here, and hardly anyone discussed it or brought up
anything about it.

We did talk about Conventions in general when Dennis Hager asked some
questions, but not about Paul Gosset's proposal for 2014.

I was going to take time during the weekend to post something for
discussion if there's still time. If not, then that's fine.

Hello all,

The time for voting on the below motion is now at hand.

"hat the AIS Board of Directors accept the invitation from the Iris
Society of Dallas to host the 2014 AIS National Convention."

I vote a resounding YES
