Re: AIS Centennial Shopping


As I mentioned in my previous post, I would hope we would not start offering the 100Th Anniversary celebration logo this soon especially if it is the only logo. Instead I would like to see this motion amended to not be about the anniversary celebration but simply about creating a boutique shopping cart. We had voted in the past to have the previous Dykes Medal winner each year to be featured as THE IRIS OF THE YEAR. I think it would be great to have t-shirts, coffee cups etc. with each years Dykes or I OF the Y. I would also like to see stuff with the AIS logo on it. I certainly would like some polo shirts with the AIS log instead of am alligator or a horse as an insignia. One might even start collecting a set of Dykes cups!
