After an almost two year search it is my pleasure to announce the
appointment of Bob Seaman, Region 13 RVP, as Electronic Services Chairman for
AIS.
Bob's background includes an Associate of Arts in both Landscape Design and
Environmental Horticulture, several MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)
certificates and Advanced Web Design from Renton (WA) Technical College.
His technical skills include Helpdesk data management, MS Office Suite and
Windows 95 hardware installation and maintenance, graphics development
(CorelDRAW), MySQL database development and more. He has redeveloped and
maintained websites for: AIS Region 13; the King County Iris Society; the
Society for Pacific Coast Native Iris; the Society for Japanese Iris; and the
Median Iris Society.
Current Electronic Services Chairman John Jones has been in communication
with Bob and has agreed to help in the transition to a new chairman and
determination of software purchases that will be required..
