The emembership doesn't replace the hardcopy membership, it is in addition
to if you already have a paper membership. Also it is single annual only
so if you choose to let the paper version expire and you both wish to retain
membership you'll each need to take an emembership.
Can't someone sign up for extended periods past a "single annual?" If
not, why not?
