After a reread I see that I did not mention that iMovie is free from Apple. There are llots of great tutorial available for free or a small fee at Udemy.--NeilNeil Houghton, AIS Image CoordinatorAIS Digital Program CoordinatorGreater Rochester IRIS Society3873 Rush Mendon RdMendon, NY 14506585-301-8256Sent from my iPadOn May 12, 2021, at 4:03 PM, images@irises.org wrote:I use iMovie on the Macintosh. It does most of what anyone would want and is not difficult to learn. There is pricier version for Apple called Final Cut Pro. It’s a one time fee but iMovie will do just about anything anyone would want. For PC and Mac the best solution is probably Adobe Premiere. Adobe is only available with a pricey subscription. Some of you may remember my reports and several comments at meetings suggesting that we do interviewss with our senior hybridizer to archive them. I also suggested this in a article in the journal. I also mentioned to several people in leadeership that I purchased a wireless lavalier microphone set up. I was hopeful to arrange live interviews at the convention that wasn’t. It was to be used with my camera toproduce high qaulity results. This can also be done using Zoom. Right now is not the best time to ask me. It’s bloom season here in my garden that’s too big for me to take care of. I’m sorry that no one seems to be reading reports and the journal. Despite my willingness to be a part of the Webinars and Jody’s suggestion at a BOD meeting that I be included that has not happened.NeilNeil Houghton, AIS Image CoordinatorAIS Digital Program CoordinatorGreater Rochester IRIS Society3873 Rush Mendon RdMendon, NY 14506585-301-8256Sent from my iPadOn May 11, 2021, at 9:34 PM, Linda Baumgartner <lindaabciris@gmail.com> wrote:Very sorry. Do any of you have professional video editing software or know someone who does?
I have conducted interviews of five of the 2022 convention gardens. Two of the interviews are fine but three of them were done on a windy day and the recordings have severe background wind noise.
The software I'm using does not have the capability of removing a significant amount of the wind noise. If any of you are able, I'd like to forward to you the three interviews in question, remove the wind noise and then return them to me so I can do the final editing for an upcoming webinar.
Thanks in advance.
