Re: 100th Anniversary Plans

We didn't have to pay for WiFi either.   As far as food goes,  other than the problem with the reception, we had no problem with the food.   Granted we never ordered an entrée but all of the appetizers and sandwiches were quite reasonable,  quite feeling and delicious.   I really hope whatever problems some people may have experienced will not have a bearing on their returning in 2020.

It's expensive when you're so close to New York.  Although I was
disappointed that I didn't have a fridge, I never bothered to ask for one
either.  To my surprise, I wasn't charge the parking fee, or the internet
daily fee.  My assumption is that they waived those fees, since I'm  a
Marriott Premier Awards member.
I was thankful for room service, because I caught a cold on my way there
and hid in my room for the first three days to limit my exposure to
others.  That also meant paying gift store prices for cold medicine.
I think it's going to be challenging to find something that will
accommodate a convention, *at that room rate,* in a nice area around the
city.
Thank you to Paul and Andi for all their work!  I'm sure they did the best
to keep costs low.  There was nothing we could be done about lack of wait
staff.  They should have pulled the two people collecting tickets for
drinks and asked them to help serve food.
