I guess I look at this project differently. I would order at least 3 binders as I think they willl be a class item, but also give me a regular place to put my Bulletins that I can get to easily. Right now, I have the small Bulletins stashed all over the place and can never seem to get a current one when I need at...Anyway, this is my problem and should not be a factor in whether we purchase them or not. (It would also give me a place for my TBIS magazines too!)
I am sorry to hear that some clubs/members feel that (a) we changed the Bulletin without surveying them when the decision was to SAVE MONEY so that we could continue to publish 4 issues a year instead of only 3 and (b) and that we are now trying to cram another product down their throats because WE changed the Bulletin. Clearly, there is a lot of dissatisfaction with the National Board out there and this is just one example....But that is a whole different subject.
Yes, I am one of those members who has kept every Bulletin since I joined in 1996 and my guess is that there are more than just a few dozen of us like that.
I like getting an idea of how many binders people would buy in advance of ordering our first shipment. This way we can decide how many to have on hand to fill the need but not too many to have a lot left over. I know it is too late to put info in the April Bulletin about the binders, but we can put the info with a picture on the website before Madison to let people know they will be there.
Considering the shipping costs, I now suggest that instead of shipping a calculated amount to Madison that we only have a couple of samples of binders to show people. All orders would be shipped from the Storefront when the Ludis get home from the Convention. Too much for people to lug around and get home in their luggage if they buy more than one binder and should save us some significant shipping.
Anyway, put me down for 3.
