Re: AIS Silent Auction - your thoughts on this please


I don't see any reason why AIS can't do this for ASI. However I don't think we need Board approval to accomplish it. A simple agreement between the Silent Auction Chair and the ASI President should suffice.
There have been times in the past where a region had a silent auction side by side with AIS and there wasn't any problem. They just wanted to take advantage of the volume that an AIS Convention brings.
Lastly, this should be seen as a one time deal. We shouldn't be expected to be running a neighborhood garage sale on an ongoing basis.
