Sorry Susan; I did not actually read the minutes I was just told by someone that that is what they said. my apologies. I think now that I have two passionate people who would like to see the Gardens committee move forward and are willing to take the lead as subcommittee chairs replacement is no longer the issue. I do need a passionate person to fill in the third subcommittee on Test gardens. But I had not intended to move forward on that front until the other concepts are fleshed out better. Test gardens are important but have had difficulties in the past and hopefully the same errors will not be repeated.
Since the three types of gardens will often overlap it is appropriate they be coordinated. And there are obviously global issues that they each share. Therefore I think it best they remain tied together to some degree.
My heart problems have given me a scare, such that I am trying to find backups for the things I do. I take a lot of pride in the talent I have brought forward in this organization by encouraging people on my committees take on responsibilities. I wish I could find ten more, Andi Rivarolas, Terry Laurins, and Wayne Messers.
Bob,
The meeting minutes ARE CORRECT. I did NOT say that you resigned. I quoted you, that you wanted to have someone take over this position. There is a difference between resigning and wanting someone take over a position.
