What kind of clothing should we bring to wear in the gardens? Warm things of summer weight things? 
I know its warm in Pasadena where the Huntington Garden is located but I am not sure bout Escondido and the other locations we will visit.

Thanks for the question. Didn't mean that there would be snow at the 
convention, not at all. The snow will be grape-vine that is higher 
elevation and Tehachipi higher elevation. Rest of the roads may be 
wet but weather promises to be very nice for your viewing pleasure.
