LOL, we are experiencing the same thing except no lightening strike. Seems like e wry thing in our home is on 'self destruct' mode at 15 years. Both motors/pumps on aerobic septic system. Shower pan leaking, teR out tile, etc. French doors need to be replaced ... Just hope the AC will survive the summer....
