AIS Website Domain Name

Every domain name (like www.irises.org) needs a domain name registrar  
for which we pay an annual fee. This registrar is different from and  
our internet service provider where our actual website resides.

I am changing our registrar from Network solutions to Dotster because  
Network solutions charges $34.95/ year and Dotster charger $14.95  
(and Dotster is a lot more accomodating).

This should not cause any major problems, but it can take up to 24  
hours for all the name servers on the internet to get updated and a  
few people may get a "page unavailable" message. Unlikely but possible.

I will let you know when the process starts.
