shipping rates motion

While the argument seems sound, shipping rates on the most frequently used
size of mailer has increased to $12.35 which is below the current costs; it
would be helpful to have additional data.

How many packages are shipped annually?
Which size mailers are used? (break out numbers by size/cost)
Are there other costs associated with shipping that are not accounted for,
i.e. packing materials, mileage to post, etc.

Will the proposed rate increase be sufficient to recover all expected
costs?

I apologize, having come late to the discussion, this may already have been
presented but I don't find the information in the archives.
