Re: Health Status

The first duty of an AIS president is to stay in good health. Do your duty Dr. Epperson. Great to have you up and around. Your daughter is a lovely person and I enjoyed chatting with her. Now, do your duty. :) Clarence

Subject: [AISdiscuss] Health Status

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I AM BACK!!!

As of today, March 3, I have spent some time in my University office and am
driving. All is well. My task is to eat more, gain weight back, and regain
upper body strength. (Until this morning, I did not realize that driving a
car actually takes energy and puts some strain on chest muscles.) My
primary care giver has been our older daughter, Sandra. She has been with
me 24/7 since early January. She plans to return to her home later this
week.

I am now chipping away at the archived e-mails. I regret any inconveniences
that my being incommunicado may have caused.

I will be at Austin and am now back with full participation in AIS
administration.

Thank you for your cards, prayers and thoughts for recovery that have flowed
over me during this very unexpected convalescence.

Most sincerely,

Roy
