RE: Electronic Voting

Hi there!



While I agree with Jill that the future is the computer, I think we would
alienate many older members who do not have a computer and will never get a
computer, by making electronic voting "mandatory".  Electronic voting will
make tallying much easier, voting easier, etc., but there are those who will
prefer to vote 'the old fashioned way' by hand, snail mail, etc.  These few
(and they will get fewer yearly) should be able to vote with the method they
feel most comfortable, and the additional work involved in hand tallying won't
be as arduous as the job entails now!
