Why are Past Presidents not on AIS Discuss?   After all they are  permanent 
members of the AIS Board and might have  something to contribute with  their 
institutional knowledge.   And why don't they receive notices and  
invitations to 
the AIS Board  Meetings?  That is a BIG oversight in my   opinion.




Without question an oversight.  In the past, past  presidents received the 
paper mail invitations and copies of the minutes.   The inadvertent overlooking 
of them on the AISDiscuss list was simply an error  that came with the 
beginnings of something new and unusual. All AIS  Past Presidents should be included 
on AIS Discuss, and I will ask John  Jones to so.  I do not, however, have 
email addresses for all of them and  wonder if all actually have email addresses. 
 We shall  see!
