Brad makes many valid points.  If we are to vote the ballot, then we should
be in the garden, noticing the newer varieties, and some of the older ones,
EVERY YEAR.  We should also be encouraging new judges by giving JTs in the
garden and in the classroom and enrolling more people in the Judge's
Training Program.  While I do not always agree with my fellow judges on the
show bench, I respect their opinions and learn from their point of view, as
I do when I walk a garden.
