Re: JT Handbook Revisions


Re my earlier comment about having better things to discuss:  I was only referring to the TITLES.  I didn't realize that we were actually discussing the entire judging structure!  I do agree that there possibly should be different categories for Show and Garden "specialists" -- but I think the record-keeping involved would be a nightmare!  And would we then present separate training sessions for garden specialists as opposed to show specialists??  I think we really have to examine the ramifications before making any blanket decisions...  Look at how much squawking has been done about the new requirements for training "in-garden" and "in-classroom".  And how, exactly, is the JT chair of the Region (not to mention the JT chair for the entire AIS) supposed to keep track of which sessions are in-garden and which ones in-classroom?  It's easy to make changes at a Board Meeting, sometimes harder to put those changes into practice...  Bruce
