Re: 2013 AIS Convention


I like Jim's idea on an educational convention.
Some of the ideas I've been getting from the affiliates are for
changes to the convention format.
In addition to the amount of work a host does, cost and length are
also concerns.
Most convention goers are there for the tours, which leaves 3 - 4 days
of section and business meetings, whose cost is subsidized by all
convention attendees.

I'm looking forward to reporting on the affiliate survey.  They have
some great ideas.
