John and All,

Cheryl Deaton and I have already discussed combining the RVP
Reception and RVP Meeting together to make it a two hour meeting.  Currently
the RVP Reception is scheduled to start at 8am on Sunday but, I will work with
Cheryl to see if we might schedule it later in the day before the AIS Board of
Director's reconvene that night.  Cheryl will then notify all of the RVP's of
the time of the meeting.

I agree with Donna Lowry, RVP of Region
2, that the time alloted for the RVP
meeting last year in Dallas was, for
sure, not enough. Not even close. 
My
problem is that some of the RVPs will be
arriving from the LSI convention on
Sunday and I do not think that we should
be penalized, by an early RVP
meeting.
Suggest a Sunday evening meeting for
RVPs of minimum 2 hours.

As a third year
RVP, I would like to comment. This year's meeting
(1hr) was 
far too short for
the RVP's to discuss topics among ourselves.
Then, we had 
BOD people come to
the meeting and monopolize a good deal of
that hour.

I didn't hear anything
from the BOD people that I hadn't heard
before. What 
I really needed was more
time with the other RVP's.
